Southside Church is inviting the community to ‘Join the Hunt’ on Saturday, as it presents its city-wide Easter egg event.

Ten golden eggs will be carefully hidden across town with more than $5,000 in prizes to be won.

Organizers say they had hundreds “if not thousands of people” participate in last year’s egg hunt, which they say is the largest in Chilliwack.

This year’s prizes include Airpods, Apple watches and an E-bike.

The event starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, as folks head out to find the shiny golden eggs stashed in clever hiding places across the city.

Clues will drop on the church’s social media pages, Southside_Church’s on Instagram, and Facebook.com/SouthsideLife as soon as the event kicks off at 9 a.m.

For those who live outside Chilliwack there will be one egg hidden online somewhere on their social media, and organizers are advising people to keep their eyes on the sky from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 7.
