Whitlam joins CG&CC instruction team

Veteran golf instructor Dick Whitlam is joining Chilliwack Golf and Country Club's Chilliwack Golf Academy.

A face familiar to Lyndell Beach golf enthusiasts is joining the team at Chilliwack Golf and Country Club.

Dick Whitlam, for 35 years the owner/manager of the now closed up Aquadel Golf Course, is on board as an instructor with CG&CC’s Chilliwack Golf Academy.

For 20-plus years, Whitlam taught Aquadel’s popular junior golf schools and Monday morning beginner clinics, with thousands of private lessons mixed in.

Specializing in swing fundamentals, his approach should work well at CG&CC.

The course that will soon have access to state of the art swing analysis equipment. Working with gear provided by the University of the Fraser Valley golf lab, Whitlam’s new students will see their swings in detail and learn how to fix them.
