Chilliwack FC and the Vancouver Whitecap women are teaming up May 27 to Help Kick Cancer. The Whitecaps come to town to play a game at Exhibition Stadium, hosting the Colorado Rush.
The time is still to be announced, but ticket prices have been set at $11 (pre-sale) and $13 game-day, with $1 from each ticket sold going towards cancer research.
Proceeds will be split between the Canadian Cancer Society and B.C. Cancer Foundation.
Organizers are currently searching for a sponsor(s) who will put money towards special jerseys that would be worn by the Whitecaps and auctioned/raffled off after the game.
