The Valley Huskers officially inked a few more players on June 1, the designated ‘Signing Day’ around the Canadian Junior Football League.
Head coach Bob Reist got a pair of offensive linemen to put pen to paper, securing the services of Winnipeg native Jordan Reynolds and Abbotsford native Jesse Clifford.
Reist added another big body at wide receiver, signing Abbotsford Panther grad and former Western University Mustang commit Reece Morrison.
Ryley Bednarski (Winnipeg) and AJ Kala (Mission) signed on the defensive line, bringing size and agility to a group that Reist already believes is very strong.
The coach made official the signing of Daniel Mills for the secondary along with Simon Wisness (Winnipeg) and added local flavour with the additions of Dion Kelly and Harry Sommerville.
The team also confirmed the signings of Manitoba Bison imports Julian Wytinck (QB), Anthony Dyck (WR), Brandon Poulin (WR) and Remis Tshiovo (RB).
Training camp starts July 7.
