Two BCHL teams in first Western Canada Cup

A new tournament featuring western Canada's top junior A teams takes place next week in Nanaimo.

The teams are finalized for the inaugural Western Canada Cup, running April 27 to May 5 in Nanaimo.

The host Nanaimo Clippers and BCHL champion Surrey Eagles will be joined at the junior A tournament by three more teams, with all games taking place at the Frank Crane Arena.

The Alberta (AJHL) champion Brooks Bandits are making the trip along with the Manitoba (MJHL) champion Steinbach Pistons and Saskatchewan (SJHL) champion Yorkton Terriers.
