Another sign that fall will soon be upon us is the start of the minor football season.

Chilliwack Minor Football’s 11th annual ChilliBowl tournament takes place this weekend. It is the first and largest of the preseason, drawing teams from all over the Lower Mainland, plus Prince George.

Players hit the field at Townsend Park all day Saturday and Sunday playing short (25-35 minute) games as they tune up for the 2019 campaign.

Admission is free, but CMFA asks spectators to bring a non-perishable food donation that will be forwarded to the Salvation Army.
