McDonald tipping off against B.C.'s best

GW Graham Grizzly basketball star Kaitlyn McDonald joins 19 graduating high schoolers at the BC Girls High School B-Ball All-Star Game.

GW Graham basketball star Kaitlyn McDonald is finishing her high school hoops career on a high note.

The soon-to-be University of the Fraser Valley Cascade will play in the BC Girls High School Basketball All-Star game.

The game will be played Sunday at the Langley Events Centre and include 20 of the top graduating seniors in the province.

The girls game starts at 2 p.m.

The boys game follows at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

McDonald is the first Grizzly player ever invited to the year-end game.

She is also the only invitee who didn’t appear in a single-A, double-A or AAA provincial tournament. McDonald drew rave reviews this season for her all-round game, and in particular her deadly three-point shooting.
