Chilliwack's Voodoo Dollz roller derby team league is holding a Beat, Skate and Shove recruitment day on Feb. 19, from 10:30 to noon at the Landing Sports Centre.
All interested women ages 18 and up are invited to join the 'Fresh Meat' program.
The event is not a tryout. The Voodoo Dollz accept anyone regardless of skill level, promising to build skaters from scratch.
Anyone, man or woman, who is interested in getting involved as a referee or coach is also welcome. Questions can be sent by email to dollzrecruitment@gmail.com.
