The Crusaders dragonboat team held their first practice of 2012 at the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre pool last night.
The poolside practice included veteran paddlers, novice paddlers and paddlers from other teams that want to get a jump on their training.
With 'cut down' paddles, floating pads and a pair of paddling seat simulators, these performance oriented paddlers were functioning as one smooth group by the end of the night.
The next poolside practice is Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the CLLC pool. The Crusaders are still looking for more performance-oriented to join up for the 2012 season.
