Chilliwack player drafted by Warriors

The Western Hockey League bantam draft saw one Chilliwack native selected.

Chilliwack native Ryan Bowen was the lone local selected in Thursday’s Western Hockey League bantam draft.

Bowen, a Chilliwack Minor Hockey Association product who spent last season with the Okanagan Hockey Academy, was selected in the fifth round, 94th overall by the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Two hundred and 27 players were drafted through 12 rounds.
