Chilliwack cheers hockey win

Chilliwack hockey fans cheer on Team Canada during the gold medal match against the US on Sunday. Fans watched the big game on the giant LED screen in the Landing Leisure Centre.



There were some anxious moments, but ultimately many cheers as Chilliwack hockey fans watched Canada take on the US in Sunday’s gold medal match.

More than 100 fans, many sporting Canada’s colours and carrying Canadian flags, watched the game on the giant LED screen inside the Landing Leisure Centre.

The game was just one of the Olympic events carried by the big screen. It was also at the Central Community Park on Saturday.
