LETTER: There are consequences to being an anti-vaxxer

‘It’s important that we work together to combat this deadly disease and this includes vaccination’

I would like to echo and underline Bruce Webster’s letter in last week’s Progress. (“Perhaps anti-vaxxers should be denied health services”.) I’m sure many of us share his views.

Most of us are proud of and happy with our Canadian way of life. We appreciate living in a caring society where we look out for each other through public services like healthcare and education. In my view those who choose not to be vaccinated, should not receive free healthcare if they contract COVID-19. There are always consequences for the choices we make.

It’s important that we work together to combat this deadly disease and this includes vaccination.
