Yolande Ann Marie Chambers (nee de Montigny)

March 3, 1937 - October 29, 2021
After a long, difficult battle, our loving wife and mom Yolande, passed from this life into the arms of her loving Saviour.
Yolande was a devout Roman Catholic Christian, who gave much of herself to the church as an active member of the choir, the Catholic Woman's League and other charitable works until her health affected her ability to continue.
We will always know her as the strong woman who taught us what a loving marriage and family is.
Yolande (Lonnie) is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 66 years John (Jack). He proved his love and devotion, caring for her throughout her illness over the last few years and misses her dearly. Yolande is also survived by twin siblings Georgette and George; children Gail (Steve) Roscoe; Mike (Ellen) Chambers; Ken Chambers; Darby (Glenn) McKilligan; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents Leopoldine and Napoleon; siblings Pol, Lillian, Denis, Claire; and grandson Brian Chambers.
A Catholic mass will be held at St. Mary's church, 8909 Mary Street, Chilliwack on Friday November 12, at 11:00 am.
