Predeceased by his wife Lorna. Survived by his son Russel (Winifred), daughters Joy (Wayne), Kathy (Frank) and Leiha (Lyle); step-sons Phil (Betty) and Jim (Callie); along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Bill's career as an aircraft mechanic brought many adventures and stories to tell while traveling and working in the North West Territories during the early 'bush pilot' era. Before "retirement" Bill worked as a prison guard for 10 years at Matsqui Penitentiary. He enjoyed many summers at his cabin on Osprey Lake. A small family gathering will take place at a future date.
