Lost his fight with cancer on April 20, 2013 with his wife by his side. His suffering is over and he is now with his Lord and Saviour.
He was born February 14, 1948 in Berlin, Germany during WWII.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret; sons: Dean and Jason (Carla); his mother Mary and siblings Edward (Kathryn) and Katie, brother-in-law Ken and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Henry, sister Lydia, brother Richard, sister-in-law Sheran and brother-in-law George.
A Celebration of his Life will be held April 24, 2013, 3:00 pm at Sardis Community Church, 45625 South Sumas Rd, Chilliwack BC. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Mennonite Central Committee in honour of Walter.
