It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Murray is lovingly remembered by his wife, Betty- Lou of 43 years; son, Michael; daughter, Michelle (Meco) and husband Stan; grandchildren: Cailtlyn and Tori; brother, Wayne; parents: Wally and Evelyn, and numerous relatives.
Murray was born August 26, 1941 in New Westminster, BC. He spent his working years as an electrician throughout BC, retiring from Kent Institution where he worked for over 20 years.
His early retirement allowed him wonderful years to enjoy his favourite things: golfing, fishing, RVing, and spending time with his granddaughters.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kerr, Dr.Wiggins, and all the special nurses on NU3 and NU4 for their wonderful care and comfort. We also wish to thank family and friends for their loving support through this difficult time.
A Memorial Service will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Reception will follow at the Chilliwack Golf and Country Club.
