Violet Davis passed away on January 3, 2013 at Langley Gardens, Langley BC at age 90 years. She was born in Dawdon, England on December 3, 1922.
Vi is survived by her son, Larry; daughter-inlaw, Kathleen; three grandchildren: Kimberly (Glenn), Shane (Jen) and Tanya (Jason); six great-grandsons: Reece, Levi, Braxton, Ryder, Keegan, Eli; and one great-granddaughter, Mariah. She is also survived by her brother, George (Ruth); and sisters: Ellen and Lorreen and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband Al, 2011; her mother, father, brother Jack, and many sisters and brothers-in-law.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack, between 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at
Vedderview Gardens Cemetery, 44675 Watson Rd, Chilliwack. Pall Bearers are Larry Davis, Shane Davis, Glenn Jenkins, Jason Kuva, Jim Davis and Fred Cook.
Violet passed suddenly and peacefully with her loving son and family at her bedside. A wonderful mother and grandmother finally at peace. We love you Mom.
