Tom Springall

June 11, 1934 - October 17, 2017

Tom Springall was born June 11, 1934 in Coal Creek, BC. He died peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, October 17, 2017 after suffering several years with dementia.

Tom was a long-time resident of Prince George BC, where he met and married Hazel 60 years ago and raised their children Greg and Cindy. He was a proud and dedicated Rotarian in Prince George and Chilliwack, a Toastmaster, and a winner of the Prince George Business Person of the Year award. He retired to Chilliwack in 1993 to enjoy warmer winters.

Tom is survived by Hazel, his wife, and children, Greg (Stacey) and Cindy, along with grandchildren Kyla (Shaun) Caron, Kristyn (Kevin) Korol, Megan (Colby) Stinson, Brandon Nicholl and Bethany Kools.

He is also survived by brothers David and Mel and sister Ann Kallweit. There are also many nieces, nephews and friends who remember many hours of fun at "Uncle Tom's Cabin" on Ness Lake in Prince George.

Tom will be remembered as having a wonderful sense of humour. He was a prankster, someone who loved the practical joke and making people laugh. So, do not reflect on his death with sadness. Remember the laughs, the good times, the "House Boat", the Maui Condo and the many other places Tom was most comfortable and happy. He has been released from the grip of a devastating illness.

A celebration of life will be a "happy hour" held at the Sapphire Condo, 7685 Amber Drive, October 28, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
