It is with deep sadness that the family of Alexander Eric (Sandy) Lock announce his sudden passing on August 21, 2011.
Sandy struggled with the recent death of his beloved wife Sue and was unable to overcome his loss and despondency.
He will be forever missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Eric Laughlin, nephew Chris, nieces Jen (Darren) and Allison. He also leaves to mourn brother-in-law Garry Dawson, stepsons Rob (Vanessa) and Steve, and their children. And, of course, Abby. He was predeceased by his mother Beverley in 2000.
Sandy was born on August 20, 1953 and lived in Chilliwack all his life. He and Sue were married in 1987 and they had many good times together, whether fishing at the lake with Abby, or enjoying the company of family and friends.
Sandy enjoyed a cold beer and a good debate, and you always knew what his opinions were. He had a large circle of lifelong friends and they were fiercely loyal to each other.
The family wishes to thank his friends for their support of Sandy during his time of loss. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice and a toast to Sandy would be appreciated.
A gathering to remember Sandy will be held Wednesday, August 31st at 3 pm at the Camp River Hall.
