June 24, 1958 - January 28, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandy Bishop (Alger), on January 28, 2024, with her husband and 2 children by her side at the Chilliwack Hospital after a 5 year battle with 3 different cancers.
Sandy was born June 24, 1958 in Korbecke, Germany to Canadian Armed Forces parents, Bob and Denise Alger. Sandy and her family traveled to many locations with the Canadian Armed Forces.
They later moved to Chilliwack, BC, where she met the love of her life, Ed and married on September 22, 1979 and started their own family. Sandy was a sales associate for OB Allan and later went on to work for Sears Canada for 32 years before retirement.
Sandy is survived by her husband Ed, son Brandon (Laura), daughter Jessica, grandchildren James and Abigail, parents Bob and Denise, brother Dave, nephew Ryan and niece Julie. Sandy will be missed by many but will live on in all of our hearts and stories.
A memorial service will be held at 11am February 24th at Henderson's Funeral Home in Chilliwack BC.
