Passed away peacefully on September 15, 2018 at Chilliwack Hospital in his 90th year. Predeceased by his beloved Noreen in 2012 as well as his parents and siblings in the Netherlands. Rut is lovingly remembered by nephews and nieces Willem, Teunis, Heiry, Evert, Heidi (Netherlands), Derek, Peter, Janet (Ontario), Kevin (U.S.A.) and their families.
A funeral for Rut will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at 1:00 pm at St. Thomas Anglican Church - 46048 Gore Ave., Chilliwack. Burial to follow; Chilliwack Cemeteries, 10010 Hillcrest Dr. Chilliwack. Reception to follow in Cheam Village conference room at 1525 Mackay Crescent, Agassiz.
