Roy Cameron passed away on July 27, 2004 at the Chilliwack General Hospital, at the age of 89. He was born in Vermilion, Alta. on March 22, 1915.
He graduated from the Vermilion School of Agriculture and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force at the beginning of the Second World War After the War he joined the Department of National Revenue, helping to develop the Canadian Nahonal Computerized Taxation System. He later retired to Chilliwack in 1976, and was a very active member of the IOOF Lodge.
Mr. Cameron is survived bv his wife, Clarice; and their children, Don (Geraldine) of St. Albert, Alta., and Gerald (Bonnie) of Halifax, N.S.; three grandchildren, Tasha, Emma and Peter; and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Chris.
A private family cremation service will be held.
