It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Dear Ross.
He leaves behind his wife Molly (nee Evans) of 55 years, son Bruce and wife Jodi, son Neil, and son Bryn and his children, Emily and Luke.
Ross was born in Kamloops BC, to Agnes and William Fromhart. He had one brother, Douglas. All predeceased.
He worked in the Howe sound area on the construction of PGE railway. He also worked in Kimano BC. He met his future wife Molly Evans, from Wales, while she was visiting family in Squamish.
They were married in Wales in June 1965, then came to Chilliwack BC. There Ross worked for the City of Chilliwack in the engineering Department. Their son Bruce was born in Chilliwack. Molly and Ross returned to Wales for Ross to go to University. Their son Neil was born in Wales. Son Bryn was born after returning to Chilliwack.
On his return Ross again worked for the City of Chilliwack. Other projects Ross worked on included the construction of the Coquihalla Highway and the Gibson Road overpass. Ross enjoyed sailing, his model railroads, and reading about history and politics. He will be deeply missed.
A family service will be held at a later date.
