Ronald Murray Ryckman

April 27, 1930 - April 18, 2022
The family of Ron Ryckman is deeply saddened to announce his passing on April 18, 2022, days before his 92nd birthday.
Survived by his beloved wife of over 70 years, Rose, sons Murray and Lindsay (Stephanie), and daughter Deborah Newby; four grandchildren, Shauna Erler, Corey Ryckman, Graeme and Catherine Newby; and six great grandchildren Kobi, Boston, Kendra, and Jordan Erler and Bennett and London Ryckman.
Ron was predeceased by his son, Maurice and son-in-law Bruce Newby.
He was the only child born to Willard and Madeleine (Sache) Ryckman. Ron was very proud of his Ryckman and Sache family heritage.
Prior to his retirement, Ron was a painting contractor. At the beginning of his career in the business, he joined forces with his father Willard. Ron was proud to have all three of his sons follow his footsteps into the painting field.
A funeral service for Ron will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11 am at Henderson's Funeral Home in Chilliwack.
