October 14, 1944 - February 9, 2024
Ronald Guy Hilts passed away on February 9, 2024 at Cascades Hospice in Chilliwack, BC at age 79. He was born October 14, 1944 in Vancouver, B.C.
Ron is survived by his sister Dorothy and 8 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Esther, brother Ed, and parents Henry and Hope.
A Graveside Service was held on February 24, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Carman Cemetery, 46110 Promontory Road, Chilliwack, BC. Tea, coffee, and sandwiches will follow the service at the Coast Hotel, 45920 First Ave, Chilliwack, BC, in the C Fraser Room.
Ron was born in Vancouver, BC and spent many of his teen and adult years in Columbia Valley. Ron moved into Chilliwack with his wife, Esther, in the late 70's, where he stayed until his passing.
The family would like to thank Ron's friends and neighbours who helped care for him in his final years.
