It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Grandpa on January 30, 2020. Rod is survived by his wife of 40 years Deana. His 2 daughters Amanda (Kevin) and Kimberlee (Steve), and his pride and joy 5 grandchildren: Haylee, Jordan, Christopher, Alanna and Zoee. He is also survived by his mother Eileen and brothers Russell and Randall.
Rod was born April 7, 1956 in Chilliwack where he lived his entire life. He loved many outdoor activities such as camping, canoeing and fishing, and in the last few years enjoyed multiple trips to Maui and Disneyland. He had a successful career as a draftsman before retiring from Loewen Welding in November 2018.
A gathering to celebrate Rod's life will be held on Saturday, February 29th at the Chilliwack Curling Club. 45550 Spadina Avenue, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society of British Columbia. www.parkinson.bc.ca
