Nov 16, 1932 - Feb 24, 2018
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Robin Sylvester Lister on February 24, 2018 at age 85.

Robin was born and raised in Chilliwack and descended from early Chilliwack settlers. The son of a Jersey cow farmer Robin was involved in the Chilliwack 4H and Jersey Calf Club from an early age. He worked for many years as an agricultural officer for the BC Government Dairy Branch.

Robin was a quiet man with a twinkle in his eye. He was a volunteer for much of his life, and has been involved with the Camp River Hall Society, Chilliwack Community Services, local theatre, St. Thomas Church, the University of the Fraser Valley theatre, blue grass, the jazz festival, the Chilliwack Cultural Center, and the Chilliwack Museum. In his spare time, he was an avid photographer.

Robin will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila, sons Jamea and Tony, daughter Andrea (Darren), granddaughter Meaghan, and his brothers Mike (Bobbie) and Kelvin (Grace). He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Hiseler and Joan Sykes.

We are immensely grateful to Dr. Basson and the team at Eden Care Home for the tender care they gave during his last months. Special thanks to his childhood friend Don for being a faithful friend of 80 years.

Should friends desire, contributions may be made to St. Thomas Anglican Church or the Chilliwack Museum and Archives.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, March 6, at the St Thomas Anglican Church (46048 Gore Ave) with a reception to follow in the church hall.
