Robert Charles Phillip Salmon

September 5, 1950 - September 25, 2022
Robert was born in Chilliwack on September 5th, 1950. He passed away September 25th, 2022, at the age of 72. He was born to Robert and Della Salmon of Popkum, the youngest of nine children. He grew up knowing the meaning of hard work and spent his life tirelessly taking care of his family.
Robert was an incredible man of many talents, whether in mechanics, engineering, fishing, hunting, music, art, or the written word - and most recently leather working. He paid careful attention to detail and had incredible patience due to his perfectionism. He could so easily master subjects that he took an interest in. Luckily, for those closest to him, he also was an incredible teacher.
He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Della, his oldest daughter Teresa, his brothers Wayne, Vern, Ed, George, and Ron, in addition to his sisters Barbara and Margaret (who most called 'Pattie'). He is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate of 41 years, Brenda Salmon, in addition to his brother Danny Dennis, children Trevor Salmon (Tina), Brent Salmon (Amber), Miranda Salmon, and Constantina Bogunovic (Rob). In addition, he is survived by several grandchildren, including one that is on the way but that he was thrilled to learn about. He is also survived by his dog Tucker, who he loved with every fiber of his being.
As per Robert's wishes, he will be cremated and have his ashes spread amongst important nature locales that were significant to him.
A celebration of life will be held for him on October 8th, at Potter's House, Chilliwack - 45915 Yates Avenue at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to any wildlife preservation organization.
