Born in Camp Lister, BC to Robert and Clara Millner, Dick passed away in Chilliwack. He retired from the Canadian Military Engineers in 1986.
Dick is survived by his sisters Mary Kirk, Dorothy Robertson (John), Roberta Bjarnason, Isabel Perry, Catherine Gray, Elizabeth Domke (Ed), Laura Rampton (Alan), his brother Thomas and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James. He will be sadly missed by his partner of twenty-five years, Caroline MacKenzie.
The Alano Club in Chilliwack was an important part of Dick’s life for the last 35 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Alano Club, 46035 Victoria Ave., Chilliwack on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Lister, BC on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:00 am.
