René Adelard Joseph Rochon

René Adelard Joseph Rochon left this world peacefully to live in the House of our Lord, on Monday August 14th, 2023. He was in his 77th year.

He is survived by his loving wife Brenda and two daughters Corrina Rintisch (Jason) and Kristina Rawluk (Clinton). He has four amazing grandchildren whom he loved with his whole heart: Owen and Jenna Rintisch and Sydney and Riley Rawluk. He is also survived by his sister, Colette Deacon (Jim).

René was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Therese Rochon and his brother Maurice Rochon.

René enlisted in the RCAF in 1963 and continued to serve this great country of ours for 29 years in the Food Services Branch. His career took him across Canada and overseas to Germany. He was extremely proud of his Military career and attained the prestigious rank of Master Warrant Officer. He was commended for his leadership qualities by his superiors, staff, and civilians alike.

Upon retirement from the Military in 1992, René secured a position as Chief of Food Services at Kent institution in Agassiz, BC. Once again, the staff had wonderful comments to make, regarding his outstanding leadership and his fair discipline measures.

Over the years, René became an avid golfer and this passion carried on into his 17 years of retirement. He would joke and say he's going to work now on his way to the golf course

René was a great guy and loved by all who met him. He was a straight shooter with a big heart. He loved his wife and family more than words can express. René will be dearly missed by all

who knew him, none more than the beautiful family he built.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11:00 am at Fawn Meadows Golf Course in Delburne, Alberta.
