Percy STEARN

Percy Stearn passed away Tuesday, Mar. 4, 2003 in Chilliwack. He was born May 5, 1909 in Winnipeg, Man. to David and Agnes Stearn.

Percy is predeceased by his sisters, Phylis Davis, and Audrey Stearn; and brothers, Sid and Stuart.

He is survived by sisters, Dorothy Ball, Marjorie Alberts, and Olive (Dick) Wise; sister-in-law Margaret Stearn; and brother Russell (Vennie) Stearn.

Percy was a Canadian pioneer who farmed in the Willowbrook, Sask. area. He also worked for the Saskatchewan Highways Department and latterly the Canadian Forces Base in Chilliwack.

Percy was an avid antique collector and had the largest antique wrench collection in B.C. He was a ham radio operator and also a member of the Atchelitz Thresherman’s Association.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Mar. 10, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.
