September 4, 1922 - October 30, 2018
We are sad to announce that dad passed away on Oct. 30 at Cascade Lodge in Chilliwack. He was born in Groswerder, Sask on Sept 4, 1922 and spent his childhood as a reluctant farmer. As soon as he could, he enlisted in the Army and proudly served in the Aleutians and the United Kingdom. Upon discharge, he chose Chilliwack as his home, having seen it during his basic training. Here, he met and married the love of his life Jeannette. Together they fostered many children and raised a family of four.

Paul soon began working in the travel business and bought out Roblin Travel Service from FW Roblin in the 1960s. In later years, he and Jeannette were able to travel and visited many different places in the world. Paul was very active in St Mary's Church and rose to Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He recently received a certificate for 67 years of service to the K of C. He was very involved in the community and was with the Chilliwack Rotary Club for many years. Paul was predeceased by Jeannette at the end of May this year and one son Terry in 1972.

He is survived by daughter Darlene (Brian) Penny, son Doug and chosen son Doug; grandchildren Alicia (Bryan) Goodkey, Grant, Kevin (Val) & Kyle Rollheiser; and one great-granddaughter Kensi Goodkey.

Prayers will be held on Wednesday, Nov 7 at 7 pm at St Mary's Catholic Church. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, Nov 8 at 1pm at St. Mary's Church.
