December 25, 1926 - September 7, 2020
On September 7, 2020, in her 94th year, our loving Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma and Great Great Grandma peacefully went to be home with her Lord.
She was born on December 25, 1926 in Langweer, Friesland, the fourth child in a family of thirteen. In 1948
she married Jolle (Joe) de Boer and together they immigrated to Canada. They settled in Delta for 9 years and then moved to Chilliwack,
farming on Prest Road for 27 years. After selling the farm they moved to property on Ryder Lake, where they enjoyed many years of retirement.
In 1994 after 46 years of marriage, Dad passed away and Mom continued to enjoy life on the hill, later settling in Abbotsford at Menno Place.
Mom enjoyed spending time with her family and had a servant heart, volunteering her time and resources. Other activities she enjoyed
were knitting, crocheting and making fires.
She will be lovingly remembered by her six children: Hilda (Dan) Barg, Chilliwack; Trace (Stacey) deBoer, Summerland; Jane (Bob)
deVries, Grand Forks; Pat (Ken) Braun, Yarrow; Shirley (John) Feenstra, Grand Forks; and Charles (Teresa) deBoer, Abbotsford; and her
many descendants and large extended family.
