May 16, 1925 - February 4, 2021
Our friendly, caring, funny and witty mom passed away peacefully at home as she wished.
Known and loved for her life well-lived, she added joy to all that knew her. Homemade bread, candy and goodies are fond memories shared by many.
Nan was born in Chilliwack, worked in Vancouver and married in Grande Prairie before moving back to Chilliwack with her children after the early death of her husband.
She married Ken Tissington (deceased in 2011) and remained in Chilliwack until her death.
Predeceased by her oldest daughter Fran in 2017, she leaves behind her kids, Florence, Frank and Jim, along with generations of loving relatives and good friends.
Mom left us with countless good times and good memories and will be missed. Her motto was "Better times ahead".
There will be no service but we will plan a get together at a later date.
Online memorial at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home.
