Mary Beverly Burton passed away on 31 July 2019 surrounded by her three loving children after a brief stay in Royal Columbian Hospital at the age of 85. She was born on 26 March 1934 in Killam, Alberta. Bev was predeceased by her husband Gerald John Burton and her brother Donald French. She is survived by her sister Betty Neumeister, daughter Kathy (Dwayne), daughter Carol (Larry), son Ken (Danna), and eight grandchildren.
Bev loved working as a teacher in Chilliwack where she was the teacher-librarian in five elementary schools, ending her career at Tyson Elementary.
A private Celebration of Life and Inurnment Service was held on Thursday, 22 August 2019 at the Chilliwack Cemeteries.
