Martin John McGillicky passed away peacefully on October 2nd, 2013 at Bradley Centre in Chilliwack at the age of 75 years. Martin was born July 16, 1938 in Saskatchewan. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1958. After a 32 year career, Martin retired in 1990. Martin and his wife Denise enjoyed the outdoors together, hunting, fishing and camping. He was predeceased by his wife Denise in May of 1996. Martin will be sadly missed by his children Lucy (Paul) Vandermeer of Chilliwack, Joanne (Bill) Boesterd of Chilliwack and John McGillicky of Chilliwack as well as 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at the Bradley Centre for their loving, devoted care of our father. A Service of Comfort for Relatives and Friends will be held at a later date.
