Martin Cornelis "Marty" Gibbon

October 6, 1945 - May 12, 2019
Marty passed away peacefully in Abbotsford BC, he was predeceased by his parents Christina Icard and Mike Gibbon and by his sister Cory. Marty is survived by his twin brother (and best friend) Mike (Elaine); sisters Thea, Caroline (David), Roxanne (Shaun): Children Adiel (John), Lona (Glen) and Shane (Melody): Grandchildren Kristopher (Felicia); Mitchel (Courtney); Tyler, Rebecca, Tessa and three Great grandsons, as well as nieces/nephew and great nieces and families. Marty was born in Ede Holland and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1952. He spent many years of his life in Hope BC and Golden BC. He moved to Costa Rica in 2007 to enjoy his retirement and returned to live in Chilliwack in 2014. Marty loved old cars, golf and a good book, he will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of Marty's life will be held June 01 2019 1-3 pm @ Thompson Regional Park 48562 Chilliwack lake Rd, Chilliwack BC V4Z-1A6.
