Marlene Ellinor Gibbon passed away peacefully at the Bradley Centre, Chilliwack General Hospital on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the age of 79 years.
Marlene was born in Rock Glen, Saskatchewan in 1932 to George and Mary Herring and is survived by her husband, William Gibbon of Agassiz, BC and her daughters, Lynn Gibbon and Kimberly Sears of Chilliwack, as well as her granddaughters, Carly and Lyndsie and grandson, Layne; also two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Nate, all of Chilliwack, and her sister Alice Thompson of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Bruce and James Herring.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Bradley Centre for their kind and considerate care over these past four and a half years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 10:00 am in the Tea Room of Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave., Chilliwack.
