SKALICKY; Marian
1924 - 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend Marian Skalicky on May 29th, 2016. Marian was a mother of 8 children Dianne Young, Bernard Skalicky (deceased), Mervin Skalicky and wife Francine, Maria McGann, Monica Young and husband Ted, James Skalicky, Anthony Skalicky and wife Glenys and Bernadette Schultheiss and husband Gerd. 14 Grandchildren, Jason, Joanne, Danny, Dale (deceased), Kevin, Michael, Gary (deceased), Billy, Wayne, Steven, Jeff, Jennifer, Justin and Sarah. 16 Great-grandchildren Jaspaul, Jaslynn, Jas, Noah, Adam, Luc, Kolby, Megan, Mariah, Skylar, Alexis, Taiya, Dylan, Peyton, Sophia, and Jake. Marian was born in 1924 in Mary's Berg Saskatchewan and moved to Chilliwack with her family in 1957. She farmed for several years and later became a cook at the Chilliwack General Hospital where she retired from. Marian was a very active member at the St. Mary's Parish. She will be truly missed by all.
