BJORNSSON; Marian Kathleen
Marian Bjornsson, 82, of Chilliwack, British Columbia, passed away on November 22, 2016, at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. Born September 19, 1934 in Delia, Alberta, she is predeceased by her parents, Sherburne and Kathleen Coffin of Delia, Alberta, her brother Keith Coffin also of Delia, Alberta and her late husband, Lawrence Bjornsson. Marian had a career as an X-ray technician for 30 years before devoting much of her time as a member of the Eastern Star and the Ladies' Oriental Shrine of North America. Survivors include her daughters, Marilynne (Don) Morrison of Kelowna, BC, Carrie Bjornsson (Heisz) of Coquitlam, BC and Joanne Bjornsson (Ewert) also of Coquitlam, BC. She will also be missed by her grandsons Lawerance Heisz of Oromocto, NB and Kris King of Leduc, AB and granddaughters, Dawn Heisz of Coquitlam, Tania Short of Kamloops, BC and Nicole Tannahill of Chilliwack, BC, as well as many great-grandchildren. A small gathering will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the Masonic Hall at 45905 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
