Linda Mae Cross

September 24, 1951 - May 12, 2024

After a courageous battle with cancer, Linda Mae Cross (nee Andersen) passed away peacefully on Mother's Day 2024.

Predeceased by her parents and her brother Ted.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 54 years Barrie Cross, her daughter Lorrie Cross (grandchildren Cole Kelly and Kade Kelly), daughter Sandi Cross (Jay Baszucki), brother Bill Andersen, niece Whitney Newman nee Cross (spouse Mike Newman and children Everest and Wilder Newman), nephew Steven Andersen (spouse Tres Andersen & children), numerous friends, and extended family.

Linda was a selfless mother, grandmother and devoted wife with a love of gardening, family, friends and casino's. In years past, Linda also enjoyed skiing, golfing, travelling and wine nights with family and friends. Linda was a loyal friend and neighbour and many will miss her smile and laughter.

Linda had a 40 year career at CIBC, where she started in 1969, and has shared many fond memories with her co-workers over the years including hosting pool parties, golfing, and friendly gatherings.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:30-4:30pm on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Henderson's Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack.

Linda's family would like to thank the Volunteer Drivers from Cancer Society for their amazing assistance and care while driving to all the many medical appointments over the last year and a half.
