Laverne Paré (nee Mason/Greer/Garrett) passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Cascade Lodge Hospice in Chilliwack on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Laverne was born January 20, 1938 in Vancouver and resided most of her adult life in the Abbotsford/Agassiz area. Laverne is survived by her loving husband Roger Paré of 36 years and her two children Corinne and Dennis as well as her 3 stepdaughters, Penny, Judi and Angie, nephew Ed (Angie) and her many grandchildren. Laverne loved spending time with friends and family and after retirement in the public service she and Roger enjoyed travelling in their motorhome with their 3 dogs Mindy, Buddy and Rocky. Laverne will be sadly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at a future date. No Funeral Service will be held. Donations may be made to the Cdn. Cancer Society.
