Laura Ruby Thomson

November 6, 1944 - May 11, 2022
Laura, a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend to many, passed away peacefully on 11 May, 2022 in Kamloops, BC.
She is dearly missed by her loving husband of 40 years, Brian, her children Troy, Jodi, Patrick and Cameron, her siblings Beth, Lynda, Susan, Patricia and all of their spouses and children as well as a vast array of friends from all over the world.
She is Dancing in heaven now with her recently passed dear brother Paul, her parents, grandparents, Baby Ellis and all of her other loved ones that have gone before her.
A career nurse, Laura spent her working years caring for patients in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley at Lions Gate, St Paul's, Vancouver General and Chilliwack Hospitals, as well as a home support worker.
After her children were raised and off, Laura and Brian dedicated many years of their time to working with the Christian ministry organization Youth With A Mission, predominately in the Philippines.
There will be a Celebration of Life service held at Valleyview Bible Church in Kamloops on Sunday June 5, 2022 at 3:00 pm. All are welcome.
Dress Code: Casual and no black!
