Laura Rose George passed away in Chilliwack General Hospital on August 2, 2015. She was born one of 9 children in Wilkie SK, on August 5, 1925. Mom was a kind and gentle lady who loved and treasured her family dearly. She is survived by son Raymond (Mary) George; daughter Beverly (Barry) Brandt; son Albert Kenneth George; as well as grandchildren Scott & Lisa George; Jason (Bea) Brandt; Ryan (Heather) Brandt; and great-grandchildren Hannah, Everly and Angela. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Irene Kibble, Dorothy Loverick and Jean George; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Albert as well as all of her siblings. A memorial tea will be held on Saturday, August 29 from 2:00 to 4:00pm in the activity room of Ascott Estates, 7455 Huron St., Chilliwack, off Knight Rd. behind Chilliwack Mall.
