1944 – 2016
Ken passed away peacefully on September 19, 2016 after a long illness, leaving behind many loving family members and friends. The majority of Ken’s career with the RCMP, which started in Alberta in 1966, was with the Security Service in both Ottawa and Vancouver. Following retirement in 1989 he started a career as a Human Resources Mgr with the Province, working in both Kelowna and Vancouver. His final retirement was from a position of Field Coach to new recruits at the RCMP Surrey Detachment in 2008. Throughout all those years, Ken touched many lives. He considered his life well lived and enjoyed time with friends and family and travelling. A Gathering to celebrate Ken’s life will be held @ 1:00 on October 7th @ the Rancho, 35110 Delair Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, a gift in memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
