Mrs. Violet Kemp late of Abbotsford BC, formerly of Chilliwack, passed away peacefully on July 1 at the age of 78, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edward; her 4 sons, Doug (Beryl), Brad (Debbie), Derrick, Brian and daughter, Melody (Grant). She leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Vi was a great supporter of her kids and grandkids and could often be seen at the hockey rink and the baseball fields in Chilliwack. Vi loved gardening and watching the birds in her yard. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at their trailer in Birch Bay. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:30 am at Henderson's Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
