PENNER, Kathleen Mae (nee Cousins) Born April 11 1931 in Summerland B.C. Passed away January 5 2019.
Kay grew up in the Peachland area and moved to Chilliwack after completing a hairdressing course where she married Erv Penner. She loved reading, sewing and volunteering.
She was predeceased by her husband Erv (2000) and her sister Beatrice and her brother Clifford. She is survived by her sister Karen (Fred) and Shirley. Son Ed (Beatrice) Grandchildren Lee (Logan) and Calvin. And great grandson Brin.
Kay will be greatly missed by her family an all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to thank Dr Bartel for his loving care and support. Also to all the staff at Waverly Senior Village for the excellent care given in the last two years.
There will be no service at this time, but a celebration of life at a later date.
