Kathleen "Kay" Popke

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Kathleen (Kay) Popke, at home, on November 14, 2019 at the age of 77.
Kay was predeceased by her parents Bernard & Dagny, her older brother Alvin (Al) & her husband of 37 years - Allan (Al). She is survived by her daughter Arloa, son Sean, oldest brother Norman, only sister Lovina (husband Dennis), youngest brother Dennis (wife Amy) & sister-in-law Uthai (husband Phil). As well as many nephews, nieces and cousins.
She worked a total of 41 years for the Bank of Montreal. She then became the owner/driver/co-pilot/dispatcher of Sean's Towing alongside her son Sean for the past 13+ years.
Kay was very active in her community, including Soroptimist (a past President), CBX (Chilliwack Business Exchange) & selling Princess House Crystal for years.
A Celebration of Kay's Life will be held at The Tamahi Room (adjacent/off of IHOP entrance door) at 45466 Yale Road, Chilliwack, B.C. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 12 pm - 2:30 pm.
