Peacefully, on October 6, 2020, Judy (Turcsanyi) Mercer transitioned to a new chapter.
She is survived by her husband Greg, her daughters Amanda (Karim) & Angela (Marty), her grandchildren, Aveline, Juliet, Lincoln & London, and siblings George, Suzanne and Katie, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
She lived 64 wonderful years, surrounded by and embodying, love and laughter.
Judy had a long and successful career in the insurance industry, where she excelled at all she did. She loved to dance - line dancing in the living room with her daughters and their friends especially; garden; have sleepovers with her grandkids; spend time with family; and travel.
In her own words: All vacations were memorable in their own way, from crowds in Mardi Gras & New York and the peacefulness of Costa Rica, New Zealand, or travelling the Maritimes without an itinerary.
Judy will be missed by the many people she left behind. She was a strong lady. A fighter and an anchor, and her home was always a comfort to anyone who entered.
Monetary donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton in her name in lieu of flowers.
