Heaven rejoices and its gardens bloom brighter as our beloved Judy is welcomed home. While we celebrate her new life, we are left with a deep sense of loss of our sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend and confidante.
Judy passed away peacefully at Heritage Village Chilliwack B.C. on August 27, 2008. She was born in Lydiatt, Manitoba June 24, 1943 and raised in Chilliwack. She is predeceased by her parents Ernest and Edith Reinhardt, stepmother Anne Reinhardt and sister Susan Reinhardt.
She leaves behind sister Carole (John) Wiens, nieces Kristen (Trevor) Kirby, Theresa Wiens, nephew Jaden Reinhardt Maureen and David Bouchuk. Her forever best friend Elizabeth Faccini and many other special friends including Frieda Weins. Judy was a teacher for School District #33 for 31 years. Many students, some of whom were thought to be unteachable, were able to learn because of Judy’s willingness to try where others had given up.
Those of us fortunate enough to have known Judy will forever love her, cherish her and honour her. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Village for their love and tender care over the years spent there. In memory of Judy donations can be given to Jaden Reinhardt’s Trust fund, or a charity of your choice. A Memorial Service for Judy will be held at Sardis Community Church 45625 South Sumas Road, Chilliwack B.C. 11 AM, Friday, Sept. 5, 2008.
